The Queen’s Marketing Association was founded on a premise of bigger is always better. By creating a marketing conference focused on the students, there was no limit to how big a QMAC could grow to be. On January 12, 2017, Canada’s largest student run marketing conference reached another milestone when QMAC kicked off in Toronto!
The move to Toronto expanded the list of companies delegates could connect with, and created the opportunity to hear from the premier thought leaders within the Canadian marketing industry. QMAC continued to mix inspiration with education whether it be learning about a business at their corporate offices, or cracking cases in a creative working space in downtown Toronto!
For our corporate partners, Toronto allowed QMAC to grow it’s delegate pool and meet the great national demand QMAC has, with an initial jump from 130 to 150 delegates in 2017. In addition, the accessibility for international applicants proved to ensure our sponsors were truly connecting with the best young marketers Canada has to offer.
QMAC is an opportunity to bridge the gap between the classroom and industry, and with QMAC’s move to Toronto last year, the bridge for marketers and students alike is shorter than ever.
