LETTER FROM THE CO-CHAIRS
The Queen’s Marketing Association (QMA) exists to inspire and educate the next generation of marketing leaders.
The QMA team is committed to providing valuable resources to marketing undergraduate students well beyond our campus. We organize and execute the annual Queen’s Marketing Association Conference (QMAC) which is recognized as Canada’s largest undergraduate conference. This three-day conference includes a thought-provoking workshop series, engaging content platforms, industry renowned speakers and a leading case competition. Additionally, we offer year-round events and workshops which take place both in Toronto and Kingston. The QMA aspires to provide the marketing student community with invaluable resources.
We believe that connecting students to relevant marketing trends and thought leaders is our way of positively influencing the marketing landscape. Since 1986, we have meaningfully impacted thousands of Canadian marketers through our portfolio of offerings. This coming year will be no exception to this precedent. Our team holds the bar high and is committed to exceeding our stakeholders’ expectations as we strive for continuous improvement and innovation.
We look forward to working with our team and celebrating all that we accomplish over the coming year. If you believe you can help further our mission or want to get involved with the QMA, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. We would love to hear from you!

The Queen’s Marketing Association was formed in 1986 by distinguished professor at the Smith School of Business Kenneth Wong, and a group of students dedicated to bridging the gap between industry and the classroom. The year 2000 marked the inaugural two day conference that would grow to be known as QMAC, and with the help of the QMAC Challenge introduced in 2003, became the marketing resource for students at Queen’s. In 2013, marketing opportunity for Queen’s students grew significantly with the ratification of the Queen’s Marketing and Advertising Association, QMAA. QMAA was able to establish year round support in the form of educational workshops, online resources and networking events centred on exposing students to a wide array of strategies and career opportunities.
In 2016, QMAC and QMAA chose to merge, returning both organizations under the QMA name, reaffirming our focus towards educating and inspiring the next generation of marketing leaders.
In 2017, the Queen’s Marketing Association Conference, QMAC, travelled from Kingston to Toronto to provide an even larger array of access to recruitment opportunities for students and create accessibility for our national applicants.
